Several causes contribute to the appearance of these stains: sun exposure, aging, pregnancy and certain drugs or medicines trigger an alteration of the melanocytes, giving them an irregular, matte and dull tone.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What will I feel during and after the peeling session?
The procedure is fast, safe and painless and does not require any work or social leave. After the peeling, skin will appear slightly bushed, but really soft and supple.
The cellular renovation process of the skin becomes visible during the first week, in the form of light skin exfoliation or peeling. There is no need to worry for this is a beneficial effect on your skin, which will now acquire a more homogeneous tone, with stain colors fading and becoming less visible.
HOW SHOULD I TAKE CARE OF MY SKIN AFTER THE PEELING?
It is really important to follow an adequate in-home treatment and continue treating the stains on a daily basis. The medical treatment by itself is not enough to depigment all of the skin stains and, for this reason, we recommend using specific products after the therapy.
During the first week immediately following the peeling, you should use the post-treatment kit products to accelerate cellular turnover and skin repair. Starting on the second week and up until your second peeling session, you should use products from the Target Nanopeel post-treatment kit, to continue depigmenting stains and keep your skin well hydrated.
It is advisable to avoid direct sunlight and excessively hot places. Use an SPF50+ sunscreen (such as screenses) to protect your skin.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A PEELING TREATMENT?
Peelings can be carried out every 20 or 30 days. You will see for yourself, in just a few sessions that your skin tone is more homogeneous and practically all the stains have lightened up.
